Life is a highway. Your dog would like to sniff every single inch of it.

The Life is a Highway Dog Sweater is a bold colourwork knit for dogs who refuse to blend into the background.

It’s cozy enough for chilly walks, interesting enough to keep your needles entertained, and — most importantly — has the kind of pattern that makes your dog look like they have somewhere extremely important to be.

Probably the park.

Maybe the cheese drawer.

We don’t ask questions.

The sweater is worked primarily in the round and features stranded colourwork for that big graphic look. The pattern comes in multiple sizes so dogs of varying levels of tiny celebrity can get in on the action.

And if colourwork or some of the construction feels a little intimidating, you’re not being thrown onto the highway without directions: the pattern includes detailed video tutorials to walk you through the techniques used in the design.

Why Your Dog Needs This

Bold colourwork that makes a plain dog walk considerably less plain
A proper little handknit sweater for cooler weather
Multiple sizes for different dog bodies
Video tutorials to help with the trickier bits
Excellent potential for unsolicited compliments from strangers

Basically, you put a ridiculous amount of time into knitting your dog a tiny sweater and then get to experience the immense satisfaction of watching them strut around in it like they paid for the yarn themselves.

Seems fair.

This listing is for a digital knitting pattern, not a finished dog sweater.
